These influential people aren’t real humans but most of us actually believed that they really exist or existed.

Barbie Doll
Barbie is a beautiful popular doll that has progressed from a pretty young woman to whom all girls could aspire, to something often verging on the likeness of a harlot.


One can wonder whether it was Barbie influencing children, or children influencing Barbie. There are certainly many similarities. Barbie has depicted almost every possible female lifestyle choice. Barbie is just a fashion doll manufactured by an American toy-company and launched in March 1959. Barbie has been an important part of the toy fashion doll market for over fifty years and has been the subject of numerous controversies.

Santa Claus
We are all know Father Christmas who is always coming from Rome every December with lots of goodies.


Children are always anxious to see Santa and some parents even pay for their kids to be seen by him every Christmas. Santa is an influential, legendary and generally depicted as a portly, joyous, white-bearded man. Sometimes with spectacles wearing a red coat with white collar and cuffs, white-cuffed red trousers, black leather belt, boots and who carries a bag full of gifts for children.

Romeo And Juliet
Romeo and Juliet are just characters in William Shakespeare’s tragic play in the year 1597. They were two young star-crossed lovers whose deaths ultimately reconciled their feuding families.


It was among Shakespeare’s most popular plays during his lifetime and one of his most frequently performed plays. Most people now compare their relationship or marriage to Romeo and Juliet’s that never existed in real life because they believed they had the most perfect marriage.

Icarus And Daedalus
Daedalus and Icarus are just fascinating Greek myth characters, that can fly from one side of the planet to another within a short while.


Flight, one of man’s greatest achievements may never have happened if it had not been for the mythological characters Daedalus and Icarus. The story tells of Daedalus building mechanical wings for his son Icarus.

The Marlboro Man
The Marlboro Man is a figure used in tobacco advertising campaigns for Marlboro cigarettes.


In United States the campaign originated from 1954 to 1999. Before the Marlboro Man campaign began, “real men” didn’t smoke cigarettes with filters but since Marlboro man appeared men now start smoking with filters. The aim of the Marlboro Man campaign was primarily to get men smoking filtered Marlboro cigarettes. The campaign is considered to be one of the best in all history.

Sherlock Holmes
Sherlock Holmes is a fictional character created by Sir Conan Arthur Doyle. Holmes is a London-based “consulting detective” whose abilities border on the fantastic.


He is known for his logical reasoning, his ability to adopt almost any disguise and his use of forensic science to solve difficult cases.
